I recently joined Top Shelf, a high-energy party band based in Denver. We perform head-turning Top 40 mashups all over Colorado as well as the country. Here is a video of us playing at the Ball Arena.
In other news, my next big project is the birth of my son in April 2024! I will be taking some time off to care for my family before hitting the gigs hard starting in June.
In 2022, I completed my Master's degree in Jazz Performance & Pedagogy at Thompson Jazz Studies in CU Boulder.
My thesis, "The Influence of Jazz on R&B Electric Bassists of the 1960s and 1970s" is available for free download from the CU Boulder archives. The paper was featured on notreble.com upon its release.
My two Master's recitals are also available to view on YouTube.
I'm a member of Bigfoot Meter, a jazz fusion project led by Joey Blunk here in Denver, CO. We released our self-titled album, "Bigfoot Meter", in 2022.
In 2020, I wrote an album of electronic music. "Brainage Volume One" is available for purchase on Bandcamp, and for streaming on all music platforms.
